All-inclusive Rate 

Our all inclusive rate offers the complete Wild Bush Luxury experience and full access across the property.  The focus at Arkaba is on the wildlife and wilderness and is supported by some key luxuries – great food, premium wines and supremely comfortable bedrooms.  Our guides are essential in delivering the wilderness experience to our guests through their interpretation and knowledge of the flora, fauna and geology of the Flinder’s country. Our all inclusive tariff includes daily guided activities.  The day starts with an activity at sunrise and ends with an activity to take in the sunset – an average of 7 hours of guiding is included each day.  Arkaba’s topography offers some of outback Australia’s most breathtaking scenery, ranging from knife edge ridge tops through cypress pine country to red gum lined creek beds. Our expert field guides pull together the incredible geological history, wildlife and pastoral heritage of this region with some spectacular 4WD’s and guided walks that visit the secret spots on the property and a chance to take in the sights and sounds of the bush.

Rates are inclusive of all meals, beverages (based on a select open bar), round trip transfers by road from Hawker Airstrip, complimentary use of mountain bikes (4km self-guided bush trail on the property), and scheduled daily activities (4WD safaris, wildlife viewing, daily guiding)

Minimum Stay

Check In/Out

Check in to your homestead guestroom will be available from 2pm

Check out from your homestead guestroom will be required by 11am

Family Policy

Please note that the camp is not suitable for children under the age of 8.

Exclusive use of Arkaba Station

To book Arkaba Station all to yourselves the cost is equivalent to 10 paying adults, and a 10% discount applies.  Exclusive use discount is not available between 20th December and 4th January each year.

Dinner Bed and Breakfast Rate

For the more sufficient travellers the dinner, bed and breakfast rate allows self-drive guests to experience the Flinders Ranges using Arkaba’s homestead as a based to return to at the end of the day. Guests also have the option to take self-guided walks and mountain bike trails in the vicinity of the homestead. The farther reaches of the property are not accessible on this package. To take advantage of this rate it is essential that guests have their own vehicle. Lunch is not included in the tariff and there is no vehicle access on to the Arkaba Station property. We can provide you with a self drive/self guide document with ideas and suggests for local attractions for those on the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate.

This rate is inclusive of accommodation, dinner, breakfast and the beverages available during these meals, complimentary use of mountain bikes (4km self-guided bush trail on the property). The rate is exclusive of lunch and all scheduled activities, airport transfers to/from Hawker. Guests must be self driving & self touring on this rate.

**This rate is not available from: 17th December 2011 – 10th January 2012 inclusive, 5th – 12th April 2012 and 17th December 2012 – 10th January 2013 inclusive.

 

Check In/Out

Guests can arrive anytime after 2pm with a check out by 11am. 

 

 

Arkaba Walking Safaris

Conservation Levy

Please note that there is a levy of $10 per person per night (included in the rate) which is donated to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy.

Insurance
